Gabriel Pallante

Gabriel was born and raised in the heart of Philadelphia. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy close to home, at University of the Sciences – once Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, now Saint Joseph’s University. Shortly after being introduced to dry needling and becoming certified through Intricate Art, he became part of the Intricate Art team as an instructor.

He was first introduced to Physical Therapy after a snowboarding injury in 2011. A few years later, Gabriel committed to Juniata College as a Division 3 soccer player. : Only a few weeks into pre-season he ended up in the hospital, and had to return home. On the train ride back to Philadelphia, he called University of the Sciences to see if he could enroll in the fall semester. Thankfully, they said “yes!”. The train pulled into 30th Street Station the same day classes began, and he had a seat in the accelerated doctor of Physical Therapy program.

While at USciences, he joined the Delta Chi Fraternity, was named Greek Man of the Year, became the student government president, was named student leader of the year, designed and 3D-printed prosthetics, won an innovation award, and graduated cum laude with his doctorate. After graduation, Gabriel accepted a job at 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy in South Jersey where he practices.

Gabriel comes from a long line of teachers. Being the first in his family to go into healthcare, he was sure that he had missed out on the teaching gene. It was not long before he realized that he was wrong. Not only did he get the teaching gene, but it was a dominant trait. He attributes his passion to all of the helpful lessons growing up. One of the lessons that stuck with him his whole life is: “those who can’t do, need a teacher.”

Through his experience, he has collaborated with many great teachers. Some were chiropractors, certified specialists in manual therapy, hand therapy, orthopedics, sports, women’s health, and strength and conditioning, as well as medical doctors and podiatrists. After acquiring a range of hands-on healing techniques his favorites are dry needling and manipulations.

The more he would learn, the more he would want to share what he learned. His favorite part of physical therapy was teaching his patients how to help themselves. Gabriel enjoys having student physical therapists, giving seminars and lectures, and teaching people how to achieve natural healing by optimizing the built-in capabilities of the human body – especially the power of the autonomic nervous system.

Favorite Hobbies: cooking, traveling, reading, eating, and outside of work can be found spending time with his family, at a concert, playing chess in the park, or exploring the north woods of Maine.
